Gold Coast Weather: Sunny and Bright

Gold Coast as the name sounds, a picturesque city, located in Queensland, Australia. This city has a distinction of having an amazing range of tourist attractions, beautiful beaches, shopping centres, dining and events, ensuring fun for people of all age groups. With rich historical background, this city is famous for its sunny weather with subtropical kind of climate, canals and waterway systems, surfing beaches, high rise skyline, most happening nightlife and the rainforest hinterland. With so much natural beauty around, this place is on every tourist’s list. The population growth increased with time and due to this boom, real estate and journalists started referring this area as “Gold Coast”.
 
Whenever you are planning a trip it is always handy to know the weather patterns in that place. As, we have mentioned that Gold Coast has humid subtropical type of climate. The weather is usually sunny for 300 days in a year, and temperature is rarely below 9 degrees Celsius, even during the winter time. So, this means Gold Coast is ideal as a holiday destination throughout the year.  Normally, on the east coast of Australia there are factors like el nino (dry weather patterns) and la nina (wet weather patterns). Now, these can create extremes of dry weather and wet weather which is why it is important to consider weather information before planning to travel in a city like Gold Coast. Gold Coast Weather is usually like: - Mar-May --- autumn, Jun- Aug --- winter, Sep-Nov --- spring, Dec- Feb --- summer. The humidity is normally high in summers and medium in winters. The rainfall is also high in summers and low in winters.  
In March- May, when there is autumn, it is quite warm in daytime and night time is slightly cold. Humidity is less and rainfall is also less. As in Jun-Aug, there is winter, which means clear blue sky in daytime and evenings and mornings are slightly chilly. Moving to Sep- Nov, there is spring, it is warm though in Sep there is lot of humidity. Also in Dec- Feb, there is summer, which means daytime is very hot and humid and summer storms can be a regular feature. Overall any time to visit Gold coast is good but these things should be kept in mind before planning a holiday there.
 
On an average the Gold Coast weather forecast is like: - in summers the temperature remains below 30°C and can reach up to 40°C. In winters, the temperature remains above 10°C but can drop below 5 °C at times.
The weather for Gold Coast is unpredictable at times as it varies when you move from north to south and further into the hinterland. Generally, humidity is higher in hinterland than on the coast. If humidity is an issue for you then March to October is ideal for you to visit Gold Coast.  There can be many reasons to visit a city like Gold Coast.
